CREATIVITY NEEDS TIME. LA CREATIVIDAD REQUIERE SU TIEMPO

I put into practice an activity thats was suggested to me by a very good friend. And it worked! And my children loved it! This is the whole process when making our final poster for this school year. 

Puse en práctica una actividad que me sugirió una gran amiga. ¡Y funcionó! ¡Les encantó! Aquí les dejo el proceso completo de nuestro último póster de este curso.

Elections

We had full advantage of the recent elections we had in our country to show the children, in a simple way, how they work. We had several candidates who went into a very competitive campaign in order to become the next representative in Valle Guerra. They did it pretty well.

Aprovechando las recientes elecciones municipales, al Cabildo y Parlamento, hicimos en 4º A un simulacro de elecciones para el portavoz de Valle de Guerra en el Ayuntamiento de La Laguna. Hubo tres candidatos, con sus respectivos asesores, que hicieron una campaña de lo más honesta y digna. Hubo carteles, mítines, debate...y, por supuesto, después de la jornada de reflexión, votaciones. Resultó elegido Samuel Correa con una amplia mayoría. Ahora, a cumplir el programa :)



Canary Islands Day

In order to celebrate the Canary Islands Day we had a festival at our school. It was very nice and moving to see our children dancing typical dances for our islands. Rosi and Willy did a great job. Thank you!

 

Para celebrar el Día de Canarias celebramos un festival en nuestro colegio. Fue muy bonito y emocionante ver a nuestros niños y niñas bailando nuestros bailes típicos. Rosi y Willy hicieron un gran trabajo. ¡Gracias!



Visiting our Parlamento

In May we visited several places in Santa Cruz. At the Parlamento our children felt as future Presidents, which they loved. Who knows? After that, we had unexpected bubbles, thanks to a friendly man. And we also visited the ruins of an ancient castle. As usual, we had fun and we enjoyed the visit a lot, as you can see.

 

En mayo visitamos diferentes sitios en Santa Cruz. En el Parlamento los chicos y chicas se sintieron como futuros presidentes y....¿quién sabe?. Después de eso tuvimos una inesperada sesión de burbujas callejeras, gracias a un amable chico que nos hizo disfrutar de ellas. Luego, visitamos las ruinas de un antiguo castillo. Como siempre, disfrutamos muchísimo de la visita,como pueden ver en las fotos.
